Was fiddling with gimp to create a monkey story collage. Thats when I figured how easy it is to create duplicates in a picture! Vaijju was in the cube next and he was left with no option :)
I am sure there are better ways of accomplishing this but heres what i diid:
1) keep the camera still in a position (i dint but i guess tripod makes a lot of sense)
2) Ask the person to take different positions within the same frame
3) Take the shots

Thats it on the camera. Download the pictures and open one of them in your favourite photo editor. ( i used gimp)

1) Open the next picture as a "new layer"
2) Crop out the portion of the pic which does not have the subject. This will make the orignal subject visible. Any part that had an overlap with the subject in the new layer will still not be visible
3) Adjust the image so that they are perfectly integrated. Use the lines in the picture. (if you had used a tripod this step would be very trivial
4) Dealing with the overlapping subjects is tricky. Decide which layer is above the other. Cut the top (visible) layer such that just the subject portion is kept intact. You will have to use manually select portions to cut. Considering zooming the image so that your accuracy increases.

Most of my effort went in aligning the different layers.. My camera positions wasn't constant. You will have to do a mix of rotating the image, scaling, change contrast etc to get it alright..

The easier alternative i think is to take the background and the subject pictures (against mono colour background) separately. Not sure how to get the shadows alright though..

Will do some reading now.. and do a cleaner job! I already have a model and background in mind :)

The word Shaadi as I use it :) (with the help of my favourite two characters Chhapri and Sahaab)

Premise: On the day of Shaadi you are a special person

Chhapri wants a sudo account on Sahaabs machine.
Sahaab: Teri shaadi hain kya ?

Premise: On the day of Shaadi you are expected to be present

Chhapri has written a function do_this() which in unneccesary
Sahaab: Yeh do_this ki shaadi chal rahi hain kya ?

Chhapri has come to office on a sunday.
Sahaab: Shaadi hain kya teri _yahaan_

There are to many Chhapris in one cubicle having fun
Sahaab: Shaadi chal rahi hain kya tum logo ki yahaan ?

Premise: You (like to) stay in company of the person whom you get (or are getting) Shadied to

Chhapri keeps using a bad library xyz() every time
Sahaab: Yeh, xyz se Shaadi hain kya teri ?

Premise: Shaadi ceremony is a long thing
Chhapri keeeps busy with his colleague/manager for an multi-hour long meeting
Sahaab: Kabse kya teri shaadi chal rahi thi waha ?

Famous Chhapri of the day statements:

Chhapri: Main tuzhe maar dalunga
Sahaab: Meri aatma se shaadi karni hain kya?

Besides, there are a lot of contexts where you can make great puns below is one recent example:

Chhapri is confused about with whom the Shadi is !!
Sahaab: Shaadi ka matlab Shaadi nahi hota hain :)

Arrange a dark place.. and of course a camera. Slow the shutter to some 10 to 15 seconds depending on the how dark the environment is. Pick a source of light like a zero bulb... click and start painting light!

it is fun.. cause in this kind you are moving the paper and not the pencil... Also you are behind the paper :)

this can be very addictive... you would stop only when the batteries get over!
